Total war rome 25/31/2023 With the shifting of recruitment and mustering to be focused on generals and admirals rather than the regions, getting around the map and prepping assaults has become that much easier. Army management has been streamlined a bit as well. Playing as one of the Germanic tribes requires a bit more runway before you start having the same impact you’d get from playing as Rome. Some of the interest and opportunity depends on which of the eight the factions you choose to play as – leading one of the major powers allows for lots of opportunity to grow and shape your empire. This additional layer of specialization adds another interesting series of decisions that can help refine your strategies without necessarily requiring additional micromanagement. ![]() If they're already on board with your culture, you might want an edict that improves tax rates or the food supply. ![]() If you've just conquered a province owned by a different culture, you might want an edict that encourages their assimilation with your culture. If you own all the regions within a province, you'll gain a small benefit and be able to enact province-wide edicts, which can boost that province's abilities in a key area. Taking an unwalled town still gives you a bit of urban fighting, but without the predictable gate and tower assaults. What makes this system particularly exciting is that each section can be conquered individually, and only one per province has city walls, which makes sieges rarer and more significant. Since each region has a limited number of building slots, you'll need to carefully consider placement when building up the temples, aqueducts, farms, barracks, and ports that make up each region. It preserves the depth I crave by leaving room for specialization, and rewarding us for smart use of it. ![]() Italy for example, has 11 regions, but you manage them in three large groups. Now, instead of having to click through every different region to check food and order levels and set build orders, you manage each region as part of a larger provincial unit. The burden of this management has always been a problem for Total War over its 13-year history, particularly in the late game when an empire can become sprawling, and Rome II's provincial-management system goes a long way towards lightening that load a bit without sacrificing depth. Play The core of the campaign game focuses on managing the civic infrastructure required to commission and maintain your armies and navies.

Hijinx afterparty5/31/2023 The problem with big parties and events is that they have to end. An after-party can be a party that happens after the (first) party, but the word perhaps more commonly refers to the party that happens after an event. Big Wild always brings the feel-good vibes, blasting his latest ‘Superdream’ album. The first records of after-party in its current sense come from the 1940s. Excision and SLANDER came together for the weekends only B2B set and even unveiled a new collaboration in the works ‘Your Fault’. Griztronics also made an appearance with their renown ‘Griztronics’ collab. Other weekend highlights included a very eclectic set from Griz in which he brought out artists PROBCAUSE and CHRISHIRA. These are just a few sets that made Hijinx special for us, but the magic that flowed throughout the festival from start to finish was unstoppable. Collapse, Coffee Break, Blame, need I say more? We love to see DC and Hooks dip their toes in different genres, however, and you can call me old school, I was happy to see a set with a lot of the classics. As most bassheads looked ahead to his annual New Years Eve 360 curated event, Hijinx was not a set to miss as he dropped Delamure, undoubtedly a fan favorite! photo: robbyjjfiields photo: robbyjjfiieldsĪfter catching an eclectic array of sets from the duo this year, it was nice to see the boys stay close to their roots with all of the Zeds Dead songs we know and love. Hijinx marked the start of the bass heavyweight’s four night long New Year’s Eve Run and he certainly did not hold back. The King of Sound never fails to present top notch sound, visuals and overall unmatched production quality. It is no secret that Bassnectar brings out the bassheads to any and every event that he graces his presence with. photo: robbyjjfiields photo: robbyjjfiields In our opinion, ANY Porter set is an AMAZING Porter set. While throwing in fan favorites and Worlds’ classics, the GRAMMY nominated artist also showcased his psy-trance side. photo: robbyjjfiieldsĬoming off an incredible year after embarking on creating a festival of his own (Second Sky Festival) – Porter’s DJ sets never fail to keep the crowd on their toes. The crowd went wild with each and every drop reminding us why we fell in love with dance music and Skrillex to begin with. Delivering undoubtedly the most crowd shuttering set of the weekend, the OWSLA label founder took the crowd on a trip down memory lane with classics like like Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, Red Lips, Wild For The Night, Where R U Now, Ease my Mind, Chicken Soup, and Purple Lamborghini. Hijnx Music Festival 2019: Musicfests365 Top 4 Sets photo: robbyjjfiieldsĬoming in at number one is none other than the dance music legend himself, Skrillex. ![]() After a weekend jam-packed with music from the industries largest artists, it was hard to say who came out on top, but we have narrowed down the top four sets of the weekend that we hope you didn’t miss: With no slowing down, day two showcased Wavedash, Kittens, The Underachievers, Droeloe, Big Wild, Porter Robinson, Skrillex, with Excision B2B Slander closing out the last weekend of the decade. Earplugs were a must as the sound production was even bigger and better than last year!ĭay one came in hot and heavy featuring Zia, SoDown, Zion I, CloZee, Subtronics, Griz, Bassnectar and Zeds Dead. Water stations were conveniently located at the back of the venue along with a plethora of bathrooms available for attendees. ![]() The event staff kept security lines consistently moving and made sure all facets of the festival experience were operating smooth and seamless. Despite the crowd growth – security, vendors, event staff and the medical teams remained on their A-game. With a sold out event it seemed as if the crowd doubled in size as festival-goers from near and far just couldn’t seem to pass up the chance to attend Hijinx 2019. After a wildly successful year one, the Hijinx team had a lot to live up to and truly did not disappoint.įrom start to finish, year two of Hijinx went off with a bang – flaunting an extremely stacked lineup with industry titans such as Skrillex, Bassnectar, Excision and so many more. For the second year in a row, Hijinx Music Festival has seamlessly executed another flawless and mind-blowing event as crowds of monstrous proportions gathered under the roof of the Pennsylvania Convention Center to celebrate not only the end of another year, but the end of a decade.

Games like pull the pin5/31/2023 The Result: Breakouts, dark spots, acne scars POPPING PIMPLESĪs tempting as it is to squeeze that blackhead (or pick at the aftermath), popping pimples has the potential to damage the skin in more ways than one. Its pro-grade formula is great for delivering immediate results, but can be too intensive if overused. For fans of acids, we recommend incorporating Doctor’s Visit Instant Resurfacing Mask into your routine once per week, max. If you prefer physical exfoliation, consider our Day Maker Microcrystal Exfoliator, which is gentle enough for sensitive and acne-prone skin. The Remedy: Any exfoliant, but limit use to 1-3x per week. The Result: Dryness, flaky skin, irritation, increased sensitivity, redness Applying too many exfoliants (and other active ingredients like retinol) too often can cause a damaged skin barrier, worsening skin concerns instead of treating them. But unfortunately, there is such a thing as overdoing it. OVEREXFOLIATIONĮxfoliation can do wonders for clogged pores, rough texture, and dull skin. Or, get a healthy dose by applying 2-3 drops of our Sunday Morning Antioxidant Oil-Serum daily. Some popular antioxidants include vitamin E, bearberry extract, blue tansy, and vitamin C. These neutralize the damaging free radicals that are emitted into our atmosphere through pollutants, like cigarette smoke. Its coconut water and bamboo extract help rebalance skin’s pH and remove hard water residue.Īs for air pollution, enrich your skincare routine by loading up on antioxidants. If that’s not within your budget, sweep our Baby Cheeks Hydrating Toner across skin after cleansing. The Remedy: For water pollution, consider investing in a filter. The Result: Acne, inflammation, premature aging, hyperpigmentation We already know that pollution has detrimental effects on the planet, but did you know it can affect our complexion too? (That’s one of the reasons why our Skin Decoder Quiz asks if you reside in a suburb or city, where pollution is more prevalent.) Water pollution affects our cleansing routine, while air pollutants adhere to skin’s surface throughout the day. Bonus points if you layer it with iron ozide and zinc oxide (found in our SPF) to amplify its protective abilities. Studies show that this ingredient, found in our Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Moisturizer, can help protect the skin from blue light damage. The Result: Hyperpigmentation, premature aging skin It’s emitted by the sun, but also by many electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and television-things we are often glued to on a regular basis. If you’re donning your blue light glasses as we speak, you’re probably familiar with HEV (high energy visible) light-otherwise known as blue light. Our Guards Up Daily Mineral Sunscreen is broad spectrum, has SPF 35, and touts a peachy hue that helps neutralize any white cast for a natural, skin-like finish. While the choice between chemical and mineral sunscreen is up to you, a broad spectrum SPF is ideal this means the formula protects against both UVA and UVB rays for 360-degree coverage. The Remedy: A daily sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more. ![]() The Result: Increased risk for skin cancer, sunburn, sun spots, premature aging skin They can be sneaky too, penetrating windows and reflecting off snow, which is why it’s so important to protect your skin from the sun 365 days of the year. Probably the most notorious one on this list, the sun’s UV rays have a reputation for causing all sorts of skin damage. Read on as we explore the most common types of skin damage and how to prevent them. Our body is almost constantly exposed to various impurities and- often invisible-irritants that sneak their way into our skin, making lasting (and unwelcome) impacts think sun damaged skin, dark spots, acne scars, premature fine lines, and more.īefore you add another tube of SPF to your cart and call it a day, know that daily sunscreen, while important, isn’t the only skin protection-especially since UV rays aren’t the sole source of skin damage. While, of course, this analogy is dramatized for entertainment purposes (we have to make talking about the science behind skincare fun somehow, right?), the basics are rooted in truth. ![]() Every single day, our complexion acts as a solider charging into battle field, dodging damage left and right.

The game’s plot was also tested with a video game tied to one of its creators’ websites, FunOrb, Gielinor Soldiers, and the Betrayal novels in Falador, Return to Canifis, and Blood Legacy. Each region offers a variety of monsters, resources, and demands to challenge players. Players can travel all over Gielinor in many ways, including footwork, magic spells, or rental ships. RuneScape occurs in the world of Gielinor, an ancient dream site divided into different kingdoms, regions, and cities. The game has more than 200 million accounts created and approved by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest and most updated free MMORPG. RuneScape, also called RS3, was originally a browser game built in the Java programming language but mostly replaced by an independent coded client. |
